phase Ministry at the local maximum security institution, the Windsor Jail. Each member involved in Prison Ministry has received training and has volunteer status at the jail. The Heaven's Saints members work closely with the institution Chaplain and are under the direct authority of both the Superintendent and the Chaplain.
every Wednesday afternoon from 2: 30-4:00 where our program ranges from conducting Alpha courses to presenting biker related videos, followed by discipling discussions. Also on a rotational basis, we conduct Saturday morning church services from 9:00-11:00. We are very grateful and humbled to be allowed to Minister to inmates, always remembering that we are guests of the institution and that volunteering is a privilege and not a right.
the Heaven's Saints colours inside the institution. We are always eager to present the gospel of Jesus Christ and to share our testimonies and experiences. But we must always be mindful to be good listeners, be encourager's and to give hope. To be courteous and natural; not to make promises we can't keep and not to be "preachy" or push inmates into making a decision for Christ.
that "If the Son (Jesus) sets you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36), and therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). Currently, our chapter is also making inroads by working with and discipling ex-offenders.
